Today was another sweltering hot day, too hot even for the park. So after breakfast, I packed up some lunch and we headed to our go-to spot for beating the heat: Hippo Hop. HH is one of several indoor playgrounds in the area and is essentially a big, open studio space filled with inflatable bouncy houses and a random assortment of toys in various states of disrepair. Add to this 30-40 hyperstimulated toddlers (and at least as many mommies/daddies/nannies chasing after them) and were talking Fun City. But sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures and, frankly, any clean-up free activity is ultimately a winner in my book!
